About Me.
I've always been creative and driven. As a dancer, teacher, designer, and manager I've cultivated the skills necessary to make teams and projects of all sizes excel. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results, I have managed a diverse range of projects, from large-scale sporting events to corporate sponsorship activations. My ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and my strategic approach to project management have consistently exceeded client expectations, making me a trusted partner in the industry.
My Story
I grew up surrounded by both creative and business environments, so it's no wonder my career path has led to my mixture of design and project management. As a dancer for all of my life, I learned the attention to detail required to execute a perfect pirouette was also an asset in design and event management. The interpersonal skills I found in coaching others were also an asset in managing client relationships and partnership building. This is how my natural passions and skills have translated into my career, and kept me working for more year after year.
I went to school in my hometown of Blacksburg, Virginia and studied architecture and design at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). I worked in Charlotte, NC in the design industry for 3 years after college until my boyfriend (now husband) convinced me to move to West Virginia to be with him as he finished graduate school. I obliged, and quickly found opportunities to work in project management and dance around Morgantown (Go Mountaineers!). I've been doing it ever since and loving it. Now our adventure turns to Nashville as my husband found a great professor position in town and we look to put down roots in the Music City. I'm excited to continue my work in such a creative and dynamic city, and can't wait to get started!
